This vintage neon Allis-Chalmers Tractors sign is an original from the 1940s. It is a single sided, rectangular shaped, working neon sign with a genuine porcelain enamel sign face. These signs were used by Allis-Chalmers dealerships on to advertise their parts and service department. This vintage neon sign an example of iconic automobile signage from "The Golden Age" of the American open road. It measures 36 inches wide by 24 inches tall, and sits on a 5 inch deep heavy metal can. The sign has a blue background with white lettering, and lights up with white neon around the edges of the sign, and on the lettering for the words "ALLIS-CHALMERS" & "PARTS & SERVICE"). There is a horizontal line above the words "PARTS & SERVICE" that also lights up in white neon. Like all of our collectible signs, it is sold in original, unrestored condition as pictured. We do not believe in restoring old signs because it is our belief that every ding, dent, and blemish is part of the story and history of the item.
