Pan-Dandy Bread Sign: Rare Vintage 1920's Tin Litho Advertising
This is an original, 12 1/2 inch wide by 6 1/2 inch tall, vintage Pan-Dandy Bread sign. It is a thick, heavy double sided tin litho sign, is rectangular in shape, and horizontally oriented. It was originally used as advertising at grocery stores and markets in the the 1920's. This is an original sign that was manufactured by Schulze Advertising Bureau of Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. per the maker's mark. It has a primarily blue background with a series of 3 stripes, white then red then white just inside the outer edge of the sign. The center of the sign has a large red logo that reads "Pan-Dandy" in white lettering across the logo area. The top area of the sign reads "We Sell" in white lettering. The bottom of the sign reads "Bread, Crisp -Danty - Delicious" in white lettering. Both sides of the sign are identical as pictured.
