This is an original Dependable Champion Spark Plugs sign from the 1960's. This vintage Champion sign is a double sided tin litho advertising/caution sign with the message "Fasten Your Seat Belts" found written in red on a white background on the center top of the sign. Underneath the Champion bowtie logo surrounded by the red and black background is featured reading "Dependable CHAMPION Spark Plugs." This vintage collectible sign for Champion Spark Plugs is marked the manufacturer's stamp "A-M 4-68" in the lower right corner of the sign. As picture, it is displayed in a custom, handcrafted wrought iron hanger for ease of display. This old sign is perfect for your auto shop or man cave.

The Champion Ignition Company was founded in 1908 by Albert Champion in Flint Michigan, and a year later in 1909 the company was renamed AC Spark Plug Company from the founder's initials. The Champion brand is currently owned by Federal-Mogul Corporation.
