Authentic Mid-Century Americana Advertising

Description

Ful-O-Pep Feeds brand

The Ful-O-Pep Feeds brand was introduced by the Quaker Oats Company in the early 20th century, with the first trademark usage dating back to 1917. By the 1940s, Ful-O-Pep was a staple feed for poultry and livestock across the United States.

Their advertising strategy leaned heavily on bold farm imagery—most often the proud rooster—symbolizing strength and productivity. Neon versions of Ful-O-Pep signage were placed in feed stores and agricultural supply outlets throughout rural America. Today, these surviving examples are recognized as iconic pieces of agricultural and roadside Americana.
