Vintage Coca-Cola Chalkboard Sign: "Things Go Better With Coke"
This vintage Coca-Cola chalkboard sign is just one of hundreds of original, collectible signs currently for sale from ArtFactory.com This single sided, rectangular sign measures 28 inches tall by 20 inches wide. It is an embossed tin sign from the early 1960's, and has a chalkboard on the lower two-thirds of the sign face. These chalkboard signs were very popular during this era due to the fact that they would stay on the wall longer because of their utility. Many diners would use these as a menu or to display the daily specials. The top has a white background with a thin read line around the outside. There is a red Coca-Cola button logo at the left, and reads "things go better with Coke" in red lettering to the right. Like all of our signs, it is in original, unrestored condition because we believe that any wear, and blemishes are part of the history and story of the item.
