9ft Pegasus Neon – NS6452

Original 1951 Mobil Pegasus Neon Roadside Sign

An original American icon with a commanding presence. Spanning nine feet wide and seven feet tall, this genuine 1951 Mobil Pegasus roadside sign captures the optimism, freedom, and unmistakable style of America’s golden age of motoring. Its soaring wings, red porcelain enamel, white detailing, and brilliant red neon make it an extraordinary centerpiece for a collector’s garage, private museum, automotive showroom, or signature man cave.

This is authentic roadside advertising that once identified a Mobil service station—not a reproduction. The maker’s mark dates the sign to 1951, placing it squarely in the era when illuminated service-station signs became familiar landmarks along America’s highways.

Original Porcelain. Preserved History.

The sign’s original porcelain enamel face remains unrestored and has not been repainted or cosmetically doctored. Its surviving finish and visible evidence of age are part of the artifact’s identity.

At ArtFactory.com, we believe preservation begins with respecting the original. Every genuine mark of service connects this Pegasus to the station it represented, the motorists it welcomed, and the American roads it watched over. See the photographs for its individual condition and character.
