Vintage Mail Pouch Sign: Collectible Chew/Smoke Tobacco Advertising
This is an original vintage Mail Pouch sign. This collectible, tin sign reads "Chew Smoke" in white and "Mail Pouch" in yellow, on a navy blue background. This is sign features raised embossed lettering as pictured. This advertisement is not dated, but we have been able to place it to the 1940's or early though our research, as the slogan "Treat Yourself To The Best" began appearing on Mail Pouch signs in the 1950's, which this sign does not have. The sign measures 14 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches tall and is single sided, and rectangular in shape. Like all of our collectible signs, it is sold in original unrestored condition as pictured. It is our belief that these signs should not be restored, as any dings, dents, or blemishes are part of the history of the sign.
