Vintage Pennzoil Double Sided Sign: "Sound Your Z" Slogan
This is a rare original vintage Pennzoil double sided sign from the 1950's, for Pennzoil Company lubricants. This vintage porcelain enamel sign reads "PENNZOIL" in black diagonally across the red Liberty Bell logo on a yellow background. The top flap features the advertising slogan from that era, "Sound Your Z". Above the logo it says "100% Pure Pennsylvania" and below it reads "Safe Lubrication", in black lettering. This sign is 16 1/2 inches wide by 12 inches tall and is an irregular die cut shape. This extremely rare and hard to find sign was manufactured by the Allen-Morrison Sign Company of Lynchburg, Virginia, and is dated 1951.
