Vintage Pennzoil Strip Sign: Original 1952 Advertisement "Sound Your Z"

This is an original, 60 inch tall by 12 inch wide, vintage Pennzoil strip sign. It is a thick, heavy single sided sign, is rectangular in shape, and vertically oriented. It was used as advertising at gas stations and auto repair shops. This is an original sign, and is dated 1952. It features the famous "AM" maker's mark, meaning is was manufactured by Allen-Morrison Sign Co, Lynchburg, VA., U.S.A.. It has a yellow background with black and red lettering and graphics. Like all of our signs, it is in original, unrestored condition, and as can be see in the pictures this sign shows wear especially in the edges of the sign, and the red "Z" in the center of the sign is faded. There is also a handful of small and medium sized dings and dents, but overall is in very good condition for a sign that is approaching 70-years-old. We believe in keeping signs in unrestored condition, because these blemishes are part of the history and story of the item.
