Vintage Conoco Triangle Sign: Original 1950's Green Die Cut Sign
This is an original vintage Conoco triangle sign from 1950's-1960's that was used on gas pumps at Conoco gas stations during the era. It it was one of the iconic signs from the "Golden Age of the Open Road". The authentic petroliana sign is a single sided white and green die cut triangle with the word "CONOCO" in white in a green band across the upper part of the triangle on this vintage die cut sign. It is an advertising sign for Conoco Gas founded in 1875 in Ogden, Utah as the Continental Oil and Transportation Company, they merged with Phillips 66 in 2002 becoming ConocoPhillips with headquarters in Houston, Texas in the Energy Corridor (formerly the Conoco Center).
