First introduced in 1925, and quickly becoming the best selling beer in Mexico, the tropical parrot, which is found on almost all of their advertising signs, has become synonymous with the brand. This vintage Corona Beer Parrot is now over 50-years-old, and is being sold in original, working condition. Not only is this an extremely coveted, and sought after piece of memorabilia, but to find one from the 1970's in original, working condition, and not in need of any type of restoration is a truly rare find. This vintage Corona Beer Parrot is a single sided, neon sign that is multi-colored (blue/yellow/red), and lights up when turned on. This is a "SURVIVOR CONDITION" item, meaning that everything is fully original, and completed untouched, and that it is being sold in the same condition that it came into our shop, (as pictured). Overall, this sign is in Near Mint/Excellent (Nr Mt/Exl) condition overall, and is free of damage and blemishes, and works correctly (many would grade this sign as Near Mint, but we always round down a grade and generally only assign a full near mint grade to unused items). In fact, this is likely to be the best condition item of this age that you will find for sale on the market today. This sign measures 28 1/2 inches at its tallest point by 18 1/2 inches at its widest point, and is 6 1/4 inches deep including the metal hanging bracket and electrical components.
