Vintage Mobiloil Lollipop Sign: Double Sided With Original Stand
This original vintage Mobiloil lollipop sign is just one of hundreds of collectible automobilia and petroliana collectibles currently for sale from ArtFactory.com. This double sided die cut, porcelain enamel sign measures 59 1/2 inches tall including the stand, is 37 inches at its widest point, and the base is 19 inches in diameter. This is a 3 color sign that features a white background with a blue border, in the round area of the sign. There is a red Mobil Pegasus logo in the center of the sign. Below is a rectangular banner type area that has a blue background, with the word "Mobiloil" in white lettering. The original iron stand has a frame that encloses the sign with 6 screws that button the frame at the bottom. This iron frame goes all the way around the sign. It is an original stand up advertisement that was displayed at Mobiloil service stations in the 1930's. These type of stand up signs are especially popular with collectors because they do not require wall space, and can be moved easily. In other words, this sign will not last in stock long.
