This rare, neon National Tyre Distributors Association sign is an original collectible British advertisement from the 1930's. These signs were displayed at authorized service providers, who were members of the National Tyre Distributors Association, which has operated in the United Kingdom since 1930. The rectangular sign is 31 inches tall by 21 inches wide, and is a genuine vintage porcelain enamel sign, with fully rebuilt neon, on a 5 1/2 inch deep metal can. The sign has an orange background, with a graphic of a tyre in the upper area, and "NTDA" in the center. The lower area of the sign reads "Tyre Service Station" in orange lettering, against a white banner. The lettering "NTDA", and "Tyre Service Station" light up in orange neon. The outer edge of the sign lights up in white neon. The sign is in excellent condition for a sign of its age as pictured. Like all of our vintage automobilia signs, it is in original, unrestored condition. However, all neon, SOLID STATE transformers and electrical parts have been fully rebuilt or replaced by our experts. The neon features a separate on/off toggle.
