Neon Standard Polarine Sign: Original Collectible Motor Oil Advertisement

This original vintage neon Standard Polarine Motor Oil sign is just one of hundreds of collectible automobilia and petroliana collectibles currently for sale from ArtFactory.com. This double sided round sign measures 30 inches in diameter, and reads "Standard Polarine Motor Oil Gasoline". This is a 3 color sign that features a primarily white background, with as large red "S" inside of an "O" and a blue outline. It is mounted on a 5 inch deep heavy metal flange can. It lights up around the edges in light blue neon, and the words "Polarine" and "Oil" also light up in light blue neon. The words "Standard", "Motor", and "Gasoline" light up in white neon. It is an authentic advertisement that was originally displayed at auto shops and service stations in the 1930's.

Like all of our collectible signs, this vintage neon Standard Polarine sign is sold in original, unrestored condition as pictured. We do not believe in restoring old signs because it is our belief that every ding, dent, and blemish is part of the story and history of the item.
