Pacific Highway Gasoline Sign: 1950's Porcelain Gas Pump Plate
This original vintage Pacific Highway Gasoline sign from the 1950's, is just one of hundreds of collectible automobilia and petroliana collectibles currently for sale from ArtFactory.com. This round shaped, genuine vintage porcelain enamel, gas pump belly plate sign measures 12 inches in diameter. It has an orange colored background at the top of the sign to represent the sunny California sky, and a sand colored bottom half to represent a sandy beach. There are graphics of green trees and small orange and white house in the background with a vintage blue and black automobile with orange white wall tires sitting on the beach. It reads "PACIFIC HIGHWAY" at the top in black lettering with a white outline. The word "GASOLINE" is at the bottom in black lettering with an orange outline.

Otherwise, it is an exceptionally clean example of this now 70-year-old sign, especially in any areas with graphics and lettering. This sign is also free from any of the large dings associated with damage from wind blow objects, and does not appear to have ever been displayed outdoors.
