This vintage Texaco Fire Chief belly plate sign is an original gas pump plate that was manufactured in 1963. This vintage porcelain enamel belly plate sign measures 12 inches tall by 8 inches wide, and reads "FIRE CHIEF GASOLINE". The sign has a white background with a black stripe around the border with a Texaco logo and Fire Chief helmet. Lettering is red and black against the white and white against the red. The Texaco Fire Chief helmet logo is below the wording. This vintage Fire Chief sign is marked as having been Made in the U.S.A. on March 10, 1963 in small black lettering on the lower edge.
