Vintage Ideal 55 Pepsi Cooler: Fully Restored Working 10 Cent Machine
The rare embossed lettering on this machine means it was made especially for Pepsi Cola. We restored this original Ideal 55 Pepsi Cola soda cooler from the 1930's to original, fully working, and historically accurate condition. This means restored as if it were a brand new machine, straight from the original manufacture. The Pepsi Cola Ideal model 55 soda cooler is known as a "slider" because the bottle slides along the internal rack once a coin is deposited. In this case all you have to do is insert a dime, and an ice cold soda slides right out. The oven-baked exterior is in a bright white color with a stainless steel lid. The soda cooler can vend up to five flavors and accommodate different size bottles. The right access door allows you to easily load the vending slider and the pre-cool area. This machine has a vending capacity of 50 bottles, and a pre-cool capacity of over 80 bottles.
