This rare vintage Winchester Skeet Load sign is a single sided, round, porcelain enamel sign from the 1940's. The sign has a white, yellow, and orange background, and features Art Deco style graphics of a duck decoy being targeted and shot with Winchester Skeet Load. The sign reads "Winchester" in red lettering at the top. The right side of the sign reads "Ranger " in blue lettering, with a large red "W" below. The bottom of the sign reads "Skeet Load" in blue lettering. It is dated Made In The U.S.A. 1949, at the very bottom of the sign. This vintage Winchester Skeet Load sign measures 12 inches in diameter, and is the kind of rare collectible item that will add a statement to your man cave, lady lounge, or restaurant. This sign is in Excellent (Exl) condition overall, with only some light wear and discoloration around the outer edges of the sign, and some wear around the hanging grommet areas being of any significance. Minor wear and blemishes around the very edges of the sign, is the most common type of blemish found on these older porcelain signs. There are no large dings, dents, or any damage from wind blown objects. The sign face lettering and graphics are all very clean, and this is likely to be one of the nicest examples of this now nearly 75-year-old sign as you will find for sale.
