Phillips Gasoline Motor Oil Sign Additional Details

Like all of our vintage porcelain and tin litho signs, this vintage Phillips Gasoline Motor Oil sign is in original, unrestored condition, as pictured. We sell all of our original petroliana advertising in unrestored condition because it is our belief that each blemish is part of the unique history of that item. This sign is in Very Good (VG) condition overall. There is significant wear in 3 areas of the sign, with both the far right, and far left areas of the sign, as well as the far bottom area having a fairly significant area of scuffing around the grommet area. However, outside of these 3 significant blemishes, the sign is relatively clean otherwise. These large dings or dents are likely to have been damage from wind blown objects, and this sign was likely originally displayed outdoors.
